Joysticks & Potentiometers
Potentiometers are passive devices that change its resistance through a mechanical change. The potentiometers can vary in sizes resistance, response to the mechanical change, and more. A potentiometer can be used instead of an encoder or as a control device. The potentiometer can be used, also, as control device in a Joystick: where the potentiometer helps the user to determine the location of the Joystick’s rod.
