Anti-Backlash Worm Wheels

PIC Design offers precision Anti-Backlash Worm Wheels for applications requiring high reduction ratios, 90° power transmission and minimal backlash.

The anti-backlash assembly consists of two gears mounted on a common hub and connected by springs. Preloading the springs maintains continuous engagement with the mating worm, reducing or eliminating backlash. (Pic Design)
