Laifual Drive specializes in manufacturing precision harmonic gearbox and rotary actuators, offering high flexibility for customizing products to meet specific customer demands.

These gearbox and actuators are widely used in robotics for precise rotational motion, simulating joints. They are also capable of transmitting high torque with great accuracy, making them suitable for aerospace, medical, industrial automation, and military applications.
Harmonic drive consists of three main components:
- Wave Generator: A ring bearing with a flange connected to the motor. The Wave Generator typically integrates into the Flex-spline on one side and interfaces with the motor via flange and bolts on the other side.
- Flex-spline: A flexible ring with external teeth, positioned between the Wave Generator and the output ring (Circular Spline). The teeth of the Flex-spline engage at two contact points with the internal teeth of the Circular Spline.
- Circular Spline: A ring with internal teeth that rotates the output shaft.
A harmonic actuator consists of a harmonic drive and motor, with optional additions such as an absolute rotary encoder, and either an electromagnetic or electromechanical brake. The actuator can also include a built-in torque sensor and support for EtherCAT and CANopen communication. The manufacturer offers flexibility in input and output interfaces and provides custom manufacturing upon request.
